Carla has recently finished a collection of books.

There are 3, they are titled:
Podemos
Somos Becarios
La Aventura

This collection of books serves as a short document of time for 4 people who spent the European summer of 2008 in Barcelona, Spain working as interns at Estudio Mariscal.
While in Barcelona, these 4 people, Lilli Langenhiem, Fernando Pisaro, Giacomo Orlando and Carla McKee documented their time with a digital point & shoot camera, a 35m film SLR and 2 Fish eye cameras. The images contained in this collection are a selection of the photos that best dipict their every day life – Podemos, work enviroment – Somos Becarios and a camping trip to the North east coast of Spain – La Aventura.

All captions are written to best mimic the language used to communicate between these people and their friends which was a mix of Spanish and English (Spanglish).

Photography by Lilli Langenhiem, Carla McKee and Fernando Pizarro.

Special thanks to Bianca Solomo, Tanja Steuer, Victoria Saja and Samira Freitag.

If you would like to order a copy of one or all three as a pack please contact Carla.

This semester my group (Jack, Dan & myself)
Plan to set off in a slightly new direction.

We are looking into creative spaces again.
But this time we are trying to see how new technology
can help make space more  creatively intuitive.

For example, how technology might be used so that
when you walk into a space it will know who you are
what music you like
what colours you  like
what pace you work at
If you are tired
what mood you are in.
& if you would rather be in the mountains
or at the cofffee shop.

And then adapt to your needs.
Adaptive enviroments
… or at least thats the idea.
